Stopped at Hooks House Farm Caravan site for 4 nights, short 10 minute walk into Robin Hoods Bay for a swift drink on first day when set up.
Monday we walked from the site along the cinder path to Ravenscar about 5 miles then back along the coastal path another 3 miles. Glorious sunshine all day.
Second day we walked from Robin Hoods Bay to Whitby along the Coastal Path. About 8 miles then down the 199 steps to the bus stop which was crazy, huge queue then we had to get off in Hawsker as bus not going through the Bay due to roadworks so had to wait for the shuttle bus but thankfully dropped us outside the campsite. A lovely walk!
Our last day we drove to Runswick Bay and walked along the old railway track to Kettleness then back along the Cleveland way coastal route to Runswick. A beautiful five mile walk.
