BARNARD CASTLE TRIP CONT. 9.7.22 OLD RAILWAY AND RIVER TEES WALK

Another beautiful, sunshine day. An easy walk Roy said, along the old Tees railway and the a walk along the River Tees. We did about 7 miles.
We walked from the campsite and then got on the wrong railway track, and came out to main road near Cotherstone where a lovely man explained there are two lines! Walked through the village and found the path down to the river, however the Teesdale way does not go along the River Tees! We did have a lovely walk which finished going through the grounds of Lartington Hall. Really random photos for our last day!
