BALDWIN STREET, DUNEDIN. NUGGET POINT AND ROARING BAY PENGUIN.

Glorious sunshine again today, we left Dunedin but not before going to look at Baldwin Street, the steepest street in the world according to Guinness Book of records.
We walked to the top and met Dave Kernahan, a local who actually took most of the photos for us, he was a great guy!

NUGGET POINT

Just a bit round the corner we found Roaring Bay, which from its name gets the Roaring Forties. There was a hide here as the rarest penguins, Yellow Eyed Penguins come ashore here. The sign said from 4pm and it was just that time, as we got to the hide with hardly anyone in Roy spotted a penguin just coming ashore - Joy more penguin pics sorry!

AFTER MUCH PREEING HE STARTED TO HOP AND HOBBLE UP INTO THE GRASS

POSING FOR US!

I REALLY WANTED TO VIDEO IT COMING OVER THE ROCKS BUT MY VIDEO ONLY WORKS ON NORMAL NOT ON ZOOM AND ALL THESE WERE TAKEN ON ZOOM!
