HOPFGARTEN IN AUSTRIA

REISENHOF CAMPING IN HOPFGARTEN.

In Hopfgarten for a couple of nights, still moving east but a change of plan, we have decided not to go to Salzburg as its another holiday weekend, (they sure have a lot of holidays over here).
The Brixental is a valley of gentle proportions, set among its meadows traditional farming communities appear to maintain a way of life unaffected by tourism.

We had a gentle 11km walk, it was too hot  27oC to climb much. Back just in time as the usual late afternoon thunderstorm arrived.
