AUSSOIS VIA COL DU CENIS TO BRIANCON

We left our lovely campsite in glorious sunshine with clear blue skies. Roy had a quick bike ride before leaving and I went to the boulangerie!

We drove the beautiful mountain road up to the Col du Cenis, stopping for photo shots and lunch, into Italy for about 40 miles, which was hotter and sunnier but not as pretty as France.
On to Briancon and our planned campsite just south, sadly it was Ferme! But we found another one just a few miles further. Set up quickly and then drove back to do the sightseeing at Briancon.
What a stunning place, and tons of hills! We spent about two hours walking around this interesting town.
